Adoptions

All potential adopters are carefully screened. This involves an adoption application, a telephone call, a home check and a check-in after the cat has been adopted. Consideration is only given to applicants who are 21 years or older, and who genuinely love cats and wish to share their home for the life of the cat. We want to make sure there is a right match between feline and person or family because our goal is a forever placement.  We also encourage a foster to adopt program for cats over 1 year old to make sure it is the right match for you.  Fostering to adopt is an option we offer families who are interested in adopting a cat, and this “1 month probationary period” gives both cat and the family members a chance to get to know each others' personalities and see if it’s the right fit.
