Welcome to Adopt Me! Cat Rescue

Caring Volunteers

We are a small rescue that is run solely by caring volunteers. We do this for our love of animals and the need to make a difference in the lives of cats in need. You can commit to a single project or multiple projects. Whatever you contribute will be greatly appreciated and we hope is an enriching experience for you.

Vet Approved

Our rescues are vet checked, spayed/neutered (when they are of age), immunized and treated for fleas and ticks before they are placed up for adoption. All kittens are also micochipped!

Fundraising Events

We schedule a number of events throughout the year to raise funds that allow us to have the cats in our care vet checked.  Please check back often to see what is up next.

About Us

We are a registered charity.  Our small rescue runs completely on charity from people like you. We have caring volunteers who foster and help with fundraising. We do this for our love of animals and the need to make a difference in the lives of these cats and the loving people who adopt them.

Our rescues are vet checked, spayed/neutered (when they are of age), immunized and treated for fleas and ticks before they are placed up for adoption. Our adoption fee covers their vet check, any medicine needed, shots up to the time of their adoption and the cost of spaying/neutering. The adoption fees, money gathered from special events and private donations are our only source of funding. We receive no government support.  Every dollar is used to pay the veterinary bills for cats in care.  When you adopt 1 cat you save 2 because we can bring another in from the elements.

There are many reasons a cat may find itself without a home, maybe they were born to a feral mom and taught to mistrust humans, hunt and survive. Perhaps they were put outside when the owner decided that having a cat was not in their best interest and left to fend for themselves finding out quickly that resources are limited, elements are cruel and not all people are kind.  Possibly they were taken for a drive and dumped in an environment that is new, scary and unfriendly having to nowhere to go to with limited skills to survive. Then of course there are those who flee in fear from cruelty and abuse. Many people have the idea that cats can survive on their own and although that may be true of feral cats for a short while this is not true for a great majority of cats out there. The realty is an outdoor cat lives 1 to 5 years, less if they have been abandoned. They are subject to disease, illness, starvation, the elements, parasites, other animals or people harming them or getting run over by cars.
This is not someone’s problem this is everyone’s problem. People who don’t spay and neuter their cats are responsible for the epidemic. Do you realize that unaltered cats can reproduce 3 times a year with 3-6 kittens that has potential to become 50 new cats in ONE year! Also, people who abandon their responsibilities are responsible for sick and diseased cats roaming around and people who simply turn a blind eye and do nothing share the blame knowing this is happening.
Adopt Me! Cat Rescue mission is to rescue homeless cats and kittens and to help manage rural colony and barn cats.  Our goal is not to find homes but to find the right home for the cats in our care.

  • I have to say that we truly do have an Angel looking out for the felines. I know she does not like all the fanfare however every time there is a new cat you see the feline change in such a short period of time. Thank you Sandi for caring. I believe we are born with a love toward certain animals and you my friend are definitely one of them.

  • Adopting Bruce from Adopt Me! Cat Rescue was a great experience!  The communication between us and Sandi was fantastic.  It was easy to understand what was expected of us.  On top of that we received a great resource package which will definitely come in handy.  Overall, the experience was wonderful and I'm glad we chose Adopt Me! Cat Rescue.

  • This spring we found ourselves rescuing a beautiful male tabby from a life on the streets. Noah, as we came to call him, seemed so grateful to have love, security and food he could count on. My experience with Adopt Me! Cat Rescue was tremendous. Sandi is responsive, very knowledgeable about cats and so caring. Above all, Adopt Me! Cat Rescue has the best interest of the kitties and the people who will love them at heart. Through AMCR, Noah has a loving forever home that is just right for him and his new family.

  • My experience dealing with Adopt Me! Cat Rescue was extremely positive.  Sandi was quick to secure spots for two very deserving cats who had been abandoned.  She obviously cares greatly about these fur babies.  I am very grateful to Adopt Me! Cat Rescue.
